NewsPolyphonic Spree map North American tourThe Polyphonic Spree have announced the dates of an extensive summer tour in support of their forthcoming album. The Texas collective will begin their North American jaunt in Dallas, Texas on June 23 and hit major cities including New Orleans, Washington DC, Boston, Seattle and Los Angeles. They'll wrap things up in Aspen, Colorado on July 23. The band will also play two upcoming festivals -- Sasquatch! in George, Washington on May 27, and Lollapalooza on August 4 in Chicago, as previously announced. 'The Fragile Army' -- the follow-up to 2004's 'Together We're Heavy' -- is due out on June 19 in the US. The tour dates are: George, WA Sasquatch! The debut album is comprised of 35 short tracks, which Devin Smith a.k.a. Cassette released on Atomisk Records, a label co-founded by Smith and college buddy Patrick Hart. In May, Smith will hit the road with his live band aiming to receive the same treatment as in his hometown, where they regularly sell-out shows.
